Are you a student, researcher, academic, or member of staff with ADHD, work with someone with ADHD, or just interested in learning about ADHD?
Then join us for a lunchtime workshop during Neurodiversity Celebration Week featuring Merlin Goldman, artist, filmmaker, musician and author, whose book ADHD: A Modern Lexicon is an easy to read, personal and insightful appraisal of ADHD today.
This interactive workshop will explore how ADHD and autistic traits can shape working life. And how to build approaches that can help. Expect discussion, reflection, and a handful of ‘hacks” for starting and finishing projects, collaborating, asking for help, and preventing burnout. This isn’t about “fixing” ADHDers — it’s about recognising patterns, reducing friction, and designing supportive systems around university life.
What to expect:
- Introduction to neurodiversity
- What it means for our educational experience
- Shared experience and methods for success
- Tips for success in a Neurotypical world
Join us on Thursday 19th March from 12-midday to 1pm. This workshop will hybrid – you can join in-person (in Queens’ Building LG3) or online.
