Our first ever MINDS workshop in April was a huge success, and we’re thrilled to share the date for the next session: find out more below….
July 2025 Workshop
Our next workshop will be taking place on Wed 23rd July, from 1-4pm, in-person at Queen Mary University of London.
In a neurodivergent-affirming and collaborative environment, we’ll be hearing from neurodivergent researchers and research participants, as well as academics who are applying novel methodologies to better include neurodivergent people in research about them.
In our relaxed and open schedule, there’ll be opportunities for networking, collaboration, and group activities, as well as breaks and quiet spaces available for all those who need it.
Are you neurodivergent?
Learn about, and influence, research about neurodivergence in this friendly environment, and share how you would like such research to be conducted.
Are you a researcher?
Alongside learning about collaborative, participatory, and co-creation research techniques, take this opportunity to get input from those with lived experience and build connections with neurodivergent people and researchers.
Confirmed speakers (so far) are:
Dr Giorgia Michelini, a lecturer in psychology at QM, whose work is focused on the overlap of neurodiversity and mental health using inclusive and participatory methodologies.
Craig Anderton, a PhD student working on human-computer interaction at Birmingham City University who will share his experiences and tips for navigating research as an autistic student.
